Until I can’t run anymore, I will run.

Shaun Martin, distance runner and coach

What sport means to each of us depends on the spirit we bring to sport. Shaun Martin brings his Navajo heritage to distance running, and that living spiritual connection, passed down from his father, is what Shaun passes on to the student athletes he coaches. His message is simple yet infinite.

I’m only using running to help them become a better person and a more successful person. That’s what distance running gave me.
